Where is America and What is Ahead? (11-1-11)

As we head toward a new year, we have to stop and take a look at where we are and what is ahead for America.

In January of 2011, the Lord directed me to begin a series of TV shows to alert his people of the economic chaos that was coming upon the nation. He told me that many people perceived the problem solved as we passed into 2011 and things seemed more stable and the markets were up. But the underlying problems were still there. I have reported here that the only reason the markets were up was the $5 trillion the government printed and pumped into Wall Street since 2008. During the year, I have also reported on the real estate market’s ongoing slump, unemployment’s continuing stagnation, and the huge, unsustainable increasing government debt. I have sent out my advice on how I would protect my personal retirement accounts and I have sent out advice on surviving the times we live in. Although, as I believer I believe that we should be positive and people of faith, I do believe that God warns his people of upcoming events and problems so they can avoid the disaster and help those who were caught off guard.

We have seen Europe in the news throughout the entire summer and I would like to comment on what is going on there. The Wall Street Journal printed the following on August 8:

The economies of Europe and the United States have arrived at the moment when they no longer have any conceivable hope of being able to pay for the huge public commitments they've amassed the past 40 years…

Over the next 24 months, the 90 biggest banks in Europe will have 5.4 trillion euro’s in debt come due, which equals 45% of their entire GDP. At the same time, you have the national debt of member countries all having large amounts of debt coming due as well, like Italy which has 20% of GDP coming due by July of 2012.

We have seen several attempts to deal with this situation over the summer and into the fall, as default seemed imminent. Each time, the people rejoiced and we saw people celebrating in the streets, but the fact is that although nation’s like Greece avoided default one more time, they are still running a 15%+ deficit per year. Like the U.S., the debt in Europe is unsustainable and life threatening. Europe’s only answer is the same as the U.S.’s answerprint more money.

As I have said in the past, printing more money causes inflationa rise in prices. So when people ask me what to expect in the future, I can safely say, “Higher prices!” Because of this, I have encouraged people to avoid debt and do all they can to get out of debt. Learn to live on what you make.

At the same time I have encouraged people to begin to pray about business ideas, as many jobs have been slashed and have either been outsourced or eliminated altogether. As long as there are people, they will have needs, which business can meet.

God’s promises are valid in any economy, but to enjoy them you must have an understanding of how the Kingdom of God works and how to walk it out. Drenda and I have seen God do amazing things in our personal lives in the area of finances. We have faced what seemed to be impossible financial issues, yet, in every situation, God would give us a plan on how to solve and deal with it. The result has been success and increase. He will do the same for you as well. I encourage you to do what Jesus said in Mathew 6:33:

Seek first His kingdom (learn how it works) and His righteousness (learn what is right and what to reject), and all these things will be added to you.

Basically, learn how the Kingdom of God works!!! This is what changed my life and will change yours as well. There are some tough times ahead, but if you will allow God to give you new ideas the future will be bright! You can find many resources at faithlifenow.com that will help you on your journey. I count it an honor to mentor you in this. Remember you can ask me questions through the Ask Gary button at faithlifenow.com.
